Under the National Environmental Performance Partnership System, DEQ enters into an annual Performance Partnership Agreement (PPA) with EPA Region 8. The PPA details the joint strategic priorities, specific grant work plan commitments, and measures of success. The PPA serves as the workplan for the Performance Partnership Grant (PPG) which combines multiple environmental program grants into one for the purpose of allowing the state flexibility in meeting the priorities outlined in the PPA.
