Divine Strake Experiment Canceled 
The Divine Strake experiment is proposed by the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Nevada Site Office (NNSA/NSO) and outlined in their “Draft December 2006 Revised Environmental Assessment, for the Large-Scale, Open-Air Explosive Detonation Divine Strake at the Nevada Test Site (280 pages, 6.44 mb).”

In response to overwhelming requests to allow the public’s voice to be heard on the Divine Strake proposal, Governor Huntsman requested the Utah Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to host two public hearings as follows:
