The Utah Department of Environmental Quality is actively involved in a partnership of local, state, and federal agencies to enhance statewide emergency preparedness to prevent and respond to acts of chemical and biological terrorism in Utah. DEQ's primary areas of focus include: Drinking Water, Watewater, Hazardous Waste disposal, and air pollution emergency control.
