The facility’s modification seeks to add the Chemical Test Facility as a permitted hazardous waste storage area; remove permit conditions, information and references for management units; and make other miscellaneous changes.

Clean Harbors Aragonite will hold an information meeting on August 29, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the Tooele County Courthouse for a Class 2 modification (06.02370) to its facility permit. The modification would allow the bulking of isocyanate resins into existing site bins. The site is already managing and disposing of this material; and with approval of this modification, would improve handling capabilities and decrease potential employee exposure.

The Deseret Chemical Depot will hold an information meeting on August 23, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. at the Tooele Chemical Stockpile Public Outreach Office for a Class 2 modification (06.02553) to its Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (TOCDF) Permit. TOCDF seeks to modify the Spent Decon System (SDS) tank remote sampling system (RSS) to take advantage of an existing pump and to reduce the amount of plant equipment necessary to perform sampling activities.

Clean Harbors Aragonite will hold an information meeting on September 12, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the Tooele County Courthouse for a Class 2 modification (06.02556) to its facility permit. The modification requests to modify its Waste Analysis Plan to allow a weekly composite analysis substitute for the seven consecutive day analysis requirement. This request would not apply to PCBs as daily composites are already analyzed independently of the weekly composites.
